Better to be Safe than Sorry! That’s what should be on everyone’s mind, being careless or not cautious enough can cause you a hefty price. Whoever or whatever your profession we all are vulnerable to getting scammed, big corporation get scammed so frequently imagine their level of security we are no never near that level of security, but the sliver lining is the criminals that scam on such high level of security won’t go for scamming us. 

Criminals that scam individuals use simple tricks to deceive us into giving access to our accounts, we can easily avoid this by implementing the security tips mentioned by us. It doesn’t take long to start using these security steps, these steps can provide protection almost all common scams. 1. Keep Complex Password!

 

Put more effort into creating your passwords. Make sure you have all factors included in your password, a strong password should include a Capital letter, numbers, Special Character, it should never be your name or date of birth.

 

2. Use 2-Factor Authentication

 

Many programs today allow you to enable 2-factor authentication to keep your accounts more secure. It's another layer of security that helps confirm that it is really you who is accessing your account and not someone who is unauthorized. Enable this security feature when you can.

 

3. Remove adware

 

Adware gathers information about you to serve you more targeted ads. It is best to rid your computer of all sorts of adware to keep your privacy. Utilize AdwCleaner to wash adware and unwanted programs from your computer.

 

4. Double check to HTTPS on sites

 

When you are on a web site that is not using HTTPS, there is no guarantee the transfer of information between you and the site's server is secure. Double-check a website's using HTTPS until you give away private or personal information.

When storing information online, you wish to keep it in a location that can't be obtained by unauthorized users.

 

6. Scan external storage apparatus for viruses

 

External storage devices are only as likely to malware as internal storage devices. If you connect an infected external device for your computer, the malware may spread. Always scan external apparatus for malware before accessing them.

 

7. Disable Bluetooth when you do not want it

 

Devices can be hacked via Bluetooth and subsequently your private information can be stolen. If there's no reason to get your own Bluetooth on, turn it off!
